Delivery Team

You are here

Noclor has a delivery team embedded in each of its partner organisations. The delivery teams are patient-facing and are often out recruiting in the clinical services. Their role is to support NIHR portfolio-adopted studies in a number of ways:

  • They promote research within services
  • They collect data for research studies
  • They manage the day-to-day administrative needs of a study

You can get in touch with one of delivery teams to learn more about current research projects or learn more about their role below.

The delivery teams work alongside clinicians and clinical teams to identify patients who can participate in research. This is achieved through:

  • Screening clinical records
  • Identifying patients at multi-disciplinary meetings in community clinics and inpatient wards
  • Presenting and informing clinical teams of current research projects
  • Disseminating research results within the services

The team will ensure that research is well promoted within a service and that patients are aware of research opportunities available to them.

The teams are responsible for the general day-to-day running of a research study. This involves maintaining the site files and ensuring the study documents are up to date.

All teams have Good Clinical Practice training to ensure they comply with research regulations and ensure patient safety. They are trained to collect data on a broad range of research projects that use quantitative and qualitative measures. They are also phlebotomy trained and have experience collecting biological samples for certain studies.

The teams can be found working across a variety of different clinical areas:

  • Older adults
  • Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAHMS)
  • Community Adult Mental Health Services
  • Addiction services

The teams also provide support for research studies in other ways. They are able to provide support in therapeutic roles for low-intensity interventional studies.

Please get in touch if you would like to hear more about what research studies are available in any of our partner organisations. The teams are happy to answer any of your queries.
