Hear from experienced researchers and discover how research is addressing real-world challenges and helping to shape and improve health and care services.

As part of Research for All Week 2026, Noclor is inviting colleagues to join a special Research Seminar session showcasing research and innovation across community health and care.

Taking place on Wednesday 16 September, from 4pm to 5pm, the online session will feature different examples of how research can make a meaningful difference to people, families and communities.

Professor Richard Watt, Chair and Honorary Consultant in Dental Public Health at UCL, will present the work of the Fathers Together study. The research programme focuses on supporting young fathers in prison and the families and children connected to them, exploring an important but often overlooked area of health and social care.

The session will also hear from Cherylane Sabellano and Agnes Collarte from Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust, who will present From Research to Impact. Through a nursing lens, they will showcase how research and innovative care can be translated into practice within community healthcare services.

Together, the presentations will provide an opportunity to hear about research taking place in very different settings and consider how evidence, innovation and collaboration can lead to real improvements in care.

Join the discussion

The session will be chaired by Lynis Lewis, Director of Noclor NHS Research Office, and is open to anyone with an interest in research, innovation and improving health and care services.

Whether you are already involved in research or simply interested in finding out more, join us to hear from researchers and healthcare professionals who are turning ideas and evidence into impact.
