Farewell from everyone at Noclor - Karin's passion for research will be missed by everyone at Noclor, and we wish her well with her retirement and thank her for twenty years of support.

Karin Albani, Associate Director of Research, is retiring from the Research and Innovation team at East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT). Over her two decades at ELFT, Karin has overseen the growth of the research team, secured funding for key initiatives, and helped shape policy that benefits both staff and patients. Her influence has extended beyond the Trust, contributing to regional and national research networks and elevating the profile of mental health research in the NHS.

Karin’s retirement marks the end of a significant chapter in Noclor and ELFT’s shared history, but her impact on research, mentorship, and patient care will continue to resonate across the Trust and beyond.

Lynis Lewis, Director of Noclor, shared the following message:

“Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Karin as a colleague and friend.

Her passion for research and commitment to improving patient outcomes have been exceptional. Her forensic analysis, eye for detail and wonderfully slightly quirky way of thinking have strengthened our work time and again, she always knew how to get to the heart of an issue.

Her guidance and expertise will be deeply missed, both professionally and personally. While it’s difficult to say goodbye, we wish her every happiness in retirement and hope she enjoys a very well-earned rest.”
