The Noclor Primary Care Team support the set up and delivery of projects within General Practice, Pharmacies, Dentists, Schools, Care Homes, Prisons and other non-NHS sites.
Noclor is part of the NHS and is supported by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). We connect GPs and PCNs with leading researchers and clinical academics, supporting you through the whole process of identifying and hosting studies.

The Primary Care Team can provide support to set up your site, clinically trained nurses to recruit your patients and funding to cover your time and resource.
It can be as simple as letting patients know about a study by text, letter or in consultation. Clinical trials can involve novel interventions or testing potential new medicines at your practice. They may be more involved, but we can help you with this and any required training.
Research within general practice has many benefits: quality improvement, professional development, and generating income, amongst others.

Practices benefit from additional research income paid for each study supported. Simple studies earn hundreds of pounds while some commercial clinical trials can yield several thousand.
