Quantitative research collects data in the form of numbers or data that can be converted to numbers. Quantitative research is often draws on large amounts of data to reach conclusions.
A typical quantitative study might explore population data and vaccine intake and explore which regions of the country have the largest uptake. This differs from a qualitative study which explores the reasoning behind the numbers.
